Link Lot Checker

Get a prompt when you arrive

The whole thing works because riders report. An iPhone Shortcut automation can open the report page when you arrive at your station, so reporting takes one tap.

1. Arrive automation

  1. Open the Shortcuts app, tap Automation, then New Automation (or +).
  2. Choose Arrive. Set the location to your station's garage and keep the radius small.
  3. Pick a time range if you like (for example 5:00 to 10:00 am) and choose Run Immediately. Turn off Notify When Run if you want it quieter.
  4. Add the action Open URLs and paste this link:
  5. Save. Next time you pull in, the report page opens.

2. Leave automation (optional)

This one asks whether there were open spots when you left, which is how people find out the lot freed up.

  1. New Automation, choose Leave, same location, Run Immediately.
  2. Add Open URLs with this link:

Location automations can fire while you're still rolling. Park first, then tap.

3. Push alerts

  1. On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Apple only allows web alerts from Home Screen apps.
  2. Open Link Lot Checker from your Home Screen, go to your station, and tap Turn on alerts.

Android

Open your station's report page in Chrome, tap the menu, then Add to Home screen. Alerts work straight from Chrome. For an automatic arrival prompt, apps like Tasker or MacroDroid can open the arrive link on a location trigger.
